The Campbell River Twinning Society sponsors two Senior Exchange students each year (Grades 10 to 12) for a year-long educational and cultural exchange each year in our Sister City, Ishikari, Japan. For 33 years we have been supporting students and assisting them in having a once in a life time opportunity. This coming spring break, 2017 the Campbell River Twinning Society YOUNG AMBASSADORS exchange program plan on travelling to our Japanese sister city of Ishikari. A maximum of 30 Campbell River Students, ranging in ages from 11 to 15 and their chaperones will fly to Japan and visit the area for ten days.
Included in this visit will be a homestay in which the students will live with Japanese families and experience six days of Japanese culture. The students will also travel to other areas of Japan to explore ancient shrines and temples.
If you have a son or daughter interested in applying please call or stop by Timberline, Carihi, CRCS, Southgate, Phoenix, or Robron school offices to pick up an Information Package which includes an Application Form and Information sheet. Chaperone applications can also be obtained from the school.
